Seem like every job I ever had was like this. You ain’t gotta think. Just a pair of hands moving shit around with somebody standing over you to make sure you do it.

LARRY
Well, it’s work. I mean, it’s better than not working

SYNOPSIS
Minimum wage workers are often asked to do the most for the least, a fact not lost on the workers at Home Base department store. Despite management's insistence they're a "family," the workers are treated as easily replaceable parts. When one worker sets his sights higher, issues of race and class are brought to the surface and tested. The debate over the minimum wage continues but for many people it's a current reality. A dramatic/comedy.
